An analytical database launched publicly in December 2020. Its share is separated from Other analytics, rather than added to the total. Its own database storage stays native even when it is stored on S3. Direct reads of external files and Iceberg tables have small separate storage allocations from 2025. Data copied into Firebolt’s own tables counts as native storage.
